Appearance:
Standing at an impressive 5’2”, Hazel does her best to present herself as larger-than-life despite her petite stature and frame. Undaunted by her washboard physique, she dresses herself loudly, in outfits that make a statement (be it cheek-hugging miniskirts, brightly colored jackets, or explicitly-pictured tees). She knows how to look like an adult when she chooses to, but mostly one can find her in outlandishly-chosen blue lipstick, her blonde bob pulled back into small buns or braids, and her hazel eyes lined with dark circles. Hazel’s a woman that’ll wear plain tennis shoes with her nice dresses and nice shoes with her ratty jeans. Sporting a peachy-pale complexion, the purple hollow that tends to ring her lids indicates poor nighttime habits.

Background:
Generally speaking, Hazel is, was, and has always been your average human. A bit of an oddball by most standards, sure, but generally easygoing. She has a desk job in public relations, which she’s decent enough at. Then came Abaddon. The day the demon came to her, blaring his trumpet was the day that her life changed. She lost all her friends, committed a decent amount of crimes, and charmed her clients into earning herself a raise…all before getting an exorcism. In the world of Ava’s Possessions, this kind of thing isn’t unheard of. But what do you do with a victimized person that’s committed a variety of aggravated assaults toward the populace? You give them a choice: jail, psychiatric confinement, or rehabilitation. So, Hazel goes to rehab and learns all about demonic possession and what it’s done to a lot of people just like her: ordinary, boring people. Except, unlike all of them, crying and full of fear and regret, she can’t stop thinking about Abaddon. She was so much happier when she was possessed, and he was so nice to her. Convinced that the two of them have a special connection, she seeks to re-summon Abaddon and give herself over to him completely. Eventually, she manages it with the help of her new friend Ava, but inevitably caught and exorcised again, she’s expelled from her rehabilitation group and sent off to live in a psych ward. I mean, clearly, she needs the help.

To put it all into a basic summary, Hazel is a unique, free-spirited personality. She flings herself toward trouble with the same single-minded stubbornness of a moth to an open flame, then embraces the self-caused burns. She's good at sneaking around obstacles to get the things that she wants, but not necessarily a manipulative personality. Naturally charismatic and friendly, if odd, she enjoys forming mutually-positive relationships with the people around her. She takes things in stride, however, so doesn't sweat it when things turn sour or don't work out. In general, having a fun, lawless life is her top priority, consequences be damned. Or, well, herself be damned. That's where all roads eventually lead, anyway, so might as well enjoy the journey.
Weaknesses/Temptations:
Basically everything -- what she cares about more than anything is being reunited with the demon known to her as Abaddon the Annihilator. After her first possession by him, she felt that she'd been changed for the better. Hazel's philosophy on life completely switched rails over to the highway to Hell, you could say. Honestly, she wants to be here. It would be harder to convince her to try and erase her sins than to stack them up higher. To her, the pain and misery of this realm is worth the freedom it offers. She can't even imagine herself anymore without being as "fun" as Abaddon taught her to be.
